BBA Contributor, Jacqueline Agyei, shares tips and inspiration to help you manage anxiety during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Jacqueline is a Ghanaian-British living in the UK. She has an MA in international Relations and Diplomacy and works professionally in the Non-Profit sector. She has been working with local youth networks in London for 6 years and is now studying to become a certified youth counsellor. With her title as the 1st Runner up of Miss Africa International UK 2020, she is using her platform to raise awareness for maternal and postpartum mental health in Ghana where she has a registered charity called Mothers2Live. Jacqueline will write about debunking the stigma and demonisation around mental health issues in the African community. As a former Basketball Player with a Level 1 in Basketball coaching, she hopes to share ideas on how to improve mental wellbeing through active sport and exercise. She will also share coping skills to improve personal wellbeing, meditation ideas and tips, motivational scriptures and personal experiences with mental health.
