For the apple topping:- In a saucepan add your apple, water, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, cornflour, 1 tsp vanilla essence, maple syrup and stir often until the apple softens and the sauce thickens (Over a medium heat).
Put apple topping to the side. In another saucepan (on a medium heat), add your oats, non-dairy milk, apple sauce, chia seeds, salt, 1 tbsp maple syrup and the rest of your cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla essence.
Stir often until oats are cooked through, place your oats in a bowl, add your apple topping and enjoy!
