BEEF SUYA KEBAB

Equipment

  • 5 skewers (wooden or metal).

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef chunks
  • 6 tbsp suya spice (store bought)
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 onion
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp peanut/sesame oil to drizzle/spray
  • 1 tsp chilli powder

Instructions

  • If your skewers are wooden, soak them for about 20 minutes in water so they don't absorb too much oil.
  • Chop your vegetables into chunks and place on a plate.
  • Add your suya, chilli powder and salt to a plate and mix.
  • Skewer your beef and veggies onto your skewers, alternating the order. 
  • Dip each skewer in the spice mix until fully coated
  • Put them on a grilling tray and leave them in the oven at 200°C on the grill setting. Cook for 20 minutes on each side and take out when the meat is fully cooked.
